Abigor es una banda de black metal austríaca formada por Peter Kubik y Thomas Tannenberger. Después de la publicación de varias demos, el cantante original Tharen abandonó la banda y fue sustituido por Michael Gregor, alias Silenius, quien hizo de vocalista para todas las publicaciones de Abigor hasta la grabación de Channeling the Quintessence of Satan, durante la cual optó por dejar la banda. Thurisaz, quien estuvo en la banda de thrash metal Lost Victim junto con Tannenberger en los años 80, se unió a la banda y terminó la grabación del álbum. A finales de 1999, Thomas se fue de la banda por motivos personales. Después de su salida, Abigor publicó dos álbumes más antes de separarse en 2003.

En abril de 2006, Kubik y Tannenberger decidieron unirse otra vez. La banda actualmente trabaja en la grabación de nuevo material.

La mayor parte de las publicaciones de Abigor fueron editadas por Napalm Records. Muchos miembros de Abigor forman o formaban parte en otras bandas y proyectos paralelos, tanto de black metal como de música ambiental. Entre estos grupos se incluyen: Amestigon, Summoning, DominionIII, Dargaard, Grabesmond,Pazuzu, Darkwell y Siegfried.

La banda se formó en Texas en 1995 a partir de la disolución de la banda Necrocide; los miembros de esta banda conocieron a Wayne Knupp y se les ocurrió la idea de crear un grupo de brutal death metal lo más agresivo posible. La formación original tuvo algunos cambios, después de la demo Impaled, Knupp abandono la banda, Ruben Rosas se unió como vocalista y Majewski como bajista.

En 1999, después de otras demos, la banda graba su primer LP llamado Molesting the Decapitated. Este disco tenía una bajísima producción, sin embargo, alcanzó una fama impresionante, Rosas siguió el estilo vocal de Knupp en el disco que se conoce como voz gorrina o gutural profundo. Este mismo año Rosas fue encarcelado y la banda se disolvió.

Mientras Rosas estaba en la cárcel la banda se reformó con Knupp de nuevo en las voces y dieron algunos conciertos en los que lograron más fama. Con Knupp de nuevo en las voces la banda grabó un recopilatorio llamado1.3.8. en el que se encuentra un nuevo tema, "Babykiller", que es hasta ahora el más famoso del grupo y después la banda se volvió a disolver en 2002.

Grave is a Swedish death metal band that formed in 1986 by vocalist and guitarist Ola Lindgren, who is their only constant member. The band had particular success in the early 1990s, and their first four albums, Into the Grave, You'll Never See..., Soulless and Hating Life, cemented their reputation as one of Sweden's foremost death metal bands. Grave went on hiatus in 1997, but got back together two years later. Since then, they have released six more studio albums, making a total of ten studio albums.

Evocation es una banda sueca formada en 1991 de puro Death Metal sueco al estilo de bandas como Carnage,Dismember,Entombed etc..tuviéron un parón desde 1993 hasta 2005 cuando regresaron con toda la formación antigua, en su primera etápa editaron dos demos.."The Ancient Gate" y una promo demo ambas en 1992, en 2004 se edita un recopilatorio de sus demos y en 2006 regresan a escena con una demo y con sus cuatro álbumes, "Tales for the Tomb" de 2007, "Dead Calm Chaos" de 2008 , "Apocalyptic" en 2010 y "Illusions of Grandeur" de 2012.
